san diego water conservation garden
El Cajon, CA
The San Diego Water Conservation Garden is a six-acre property designed with the intent of educating visitors about water conservation using a combination of displays and hands-on exhibits that make sustainable water techniques both engaging and fun.
Chris Hermann and Kyle Simon worked in tandem with The Water Conservation Garden to create interactive irrigation displays, a greywater gardens exhibit with a porch structure, and the design of a roof rainwater capture component. Each display is accompanied by the appropriate graphic interpretive and wayfinding signage to indicate the locations of each component, and to provide information on each exhibit.
